Ingredients

*Recipe makes approximately 12 pieces
For the base…
1 ½ cups of your favourite muesli or granola, a chocolate variety is great
¼ cup cacao powder or carob powder
10 soft medjool dates, pitted, if they are hard, soak in hot water to soften
½ tsp vanilla

For the matcha layer…
2 cups coconut cream
½ cup coconut butter, cashew butter would also work
2-3 TBS Storm + India Zen Honey
1 TBS plus 1 tsp Storm + India Mood Matcha powder
1 tsp vanilla

To garnish…
Melted dark chocolate and cacao nibs

How to Make

In a food processor, whiz together all the base ingredients until you get a nice dough mixture that holds together. If it is a little dry, add a tsp of water and re-mix.

Press into a lined slice tray or lunchbox container, place in the fridge to set. To make the matcha layer, combine all the ingredients in a blender until silky smooth. Pour over the base, and place in the freezer to set. Once hard, slice into desired sized bars and drizzle with melted dark chocolate and a sprinkle of cacao nibs. Keep in the freezer until ready to enjoy. Happy Eating!
